2016/10 : Germany’s Bundesrat passed a resolution to ban on sales of new vehicles powered by internal combustion engines (Gasoline AND Diesel) by 2030. All newly registered cars must be zero-emission by 2030.
2016/03 : Moves within Netherlands to ban all petrol and diesel vehicle sales by 2025 (supported by the majority of the lower house). All emissions-based cars would be outlawed (in terms of new sales) even fuel efficient hybrid.
2016/06 : 4 of the Norway’s major parties reached an agreement on a proposal to ban the sale of new gasoline and diesel powered cars starting in 2025. 24% of Norway’s vehicle fleet is electric (1st in EU).
2016/03 : India’s power minister announced plans to help to whole car fleet becoming 100% electric by 2030.
Belgium’s and Switzerland’s parliament are talking about banning (referendum is planned in Switzerland in 2017).
The Swedish minister of the environment released a statement saying that a ban on the internal combustion engine is a necessary step.
